Yamane's smart person since his youth. He's one of the three members who gather at night in the Lab room (The other two are Sadakiyo and Fukubei). Later he spent his effort in creating lethal virus. He thought it's a fun "cathc-up" game to play as he would be the one inventing virus while Kiriko try hard to find the cure to it. Later in the year 2003 (Volume 13 Chapter 5) Kiriko paid a visit to Yamane's lab and make Yamane realize the truth. Yammane came to his senses and disappeared afterward.
Yamane appeared again at the school lab the night of December 31st, 2015. He purpose wass to kill "Friend" (Volume 12 Chapter 12 ).
