The family that was used by "Friend" to decieve Kenji in the year 1997. "Friend" indeed was Fukubei. We learned later that the apartment he took Kenji to (room 606) and the family that lived there were not really his (The truth was found by Maruo who decided to pay a visit to Fukubei and his family after he has seen a sketch of "Friend" by Haru Namio--Volume 12 Chapter 8-9).
