Father Nitani's a Japanese Christian father with a dark past. He used to be a gangster member. But the incident that occurred in China in the year 2001 changed the man of sin to the man of faith. There was an outbreak in Ching Ling Feng village (in the Xi Yan Ying area) and a priest wanted to take virus vaccine to the village. No one dared going because of the strong rain that night. Nitani who was on a run from policemen decided to drive the priest. Over the course of that adventure, Nitani began to have faith in the priest. The priest later became the pope.
Since then Nitani threw away his gangster life and became a Christian father stationing in Shinjuku-Kabuki Catholic Church in Kabuki Cho area. In the year 2014, the church was a gathering place where Kanna spoke about a plan to protect the pope from the assasination attempt by "Friend" Organization.
