Kiriko is Kenji's elder sister. She always protects Kenji from harms. Kiriko's brialliant since she was young. At early ages, Kiriko was fascinated with Mosquito's Larvae. Later on she studied micro organisms in University. Because she was a beautiful young lady, many guys like her. There was a guy name Moroboshi who was going away to station in Kuala Lumpur and he asked Kiriko to join him. She did not join him. The man, however, was murdered--someone has pushed him on a rail track (Volume 2 Chapter 9).
Kenji later found a letter in Kiriko's room. The content of the letter's rather disturbing. The letter also bears the sign of "Friend" (Volume 2 Chapter 8).
Letter content:
So your plan and my plan were the same.
What a wonderful thing it is.
To meet another person with the same plan as I.
After that she had an affair with a mysterious man and bore a child, Kanna. After the child was born, she felt an urge to leave the house, leaving Kanna under Kenji and her mother's care.
