Kanna is Kenji's nephew and a daugther of Kiriko. Ater she's born, her mother decided to Kenji. Kenji was determined to raise Kanna until Kiriko returns. Kanna's a special person. Her power's shown since she's a baby (Volume 1 Chapter 2), As for example, she's able to guess in a game "which hand has the coin" correctly 100% of the time.
Kanna loves her uncle dearly. At 5 yeas old, she's always with Kenji whenever he plays sidewalk music. Later Kenji sent her to stay with Kenji's mother because Kenji's fighting against "Friend" organization and Tokyo's becoming too dangerous to stay. She moved to Yangamata, however, she soon sneaked out and came back to Kenji.
After the eve of the turn of millennium, Kenji was missing. Kanna went to stay with Yukiji. Yukiji loves Kanna as her own child. In the year 2014, the 17 years old Kanna's determined to go up against what her uncle's died trying to fight, the "Friend" organization. She later learned that her biological father is no other but "Friend", the man's she hates the most.
